May 17th

Today is May 17th - Norway's answer to 4th of July - it's our birthday- all of Norway's birthday.

I LOVE this day - we put on our bunads or our nicest clothes, our gardens are all made pretty and we wave our flags, walk in parades, sing songs. And we eat as many ice-creams as we possibly can.

I have made the girls' dresses, I will post them later.

Now I am going to celebrate Norway's birthday - all day.
