Vest- tutorial

Thought I would show you how I made the vest - it's very easy.

1. I used a shirt to make the pattern - the armhole is the trickiest part, it has to be wide enough, that's why I used a shirt for measurements. The fabric is doubled.

I made a pointy in the back.

2. I used the back piece to trace the front pieces - again the fabric is doubled. The shoulder width, the armholes and the side-seams are what you have to watch here - they have to match.

I made a rounded front.

3. Sew shoulder seams and side seams. Sew bias-tape around all the edges - and the vest is done.

Boo!

I used a rose pin to close the vest.
